“A creepy voice can be heard in Bryan Texas, accompanied by lightning from the sky. The year 2020 is really crazy,” wrote the account on Twitter, as quoted. VOI, Wednesday, June 3.

In his Twitter thread, the account owner indicated other locations the mysterious screaming sound could be heard. From some of the video footage, the mysterious voice was heard quite clearly, even though he was on the pier or on the road around his house complex.

Netizens have also tweeted hundreds of times the voice of the mysterious scream. Some of them also uploaded the same mysterious voice recording, in different places.

Skyquake?

Many netizens associate the mysterious screaming sound with the skyquake phenomenon. A natural phenomenon whose cause cannot be explained with certainty.

This phenomenon has been heard for years in various parts of the world. Some have even named this mysterious phenomenon with various terms, starting from Line guns, Balza, Brontidi, Lagoni, or umimari (crying from the sea) in Japan.

VOI had asked about this mysterious phenomenon to the Head of the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (Lapan), Thomas Djamaluddin. Based on his explanation, the phenomenon of a mysterious scream or boom that occurred in the sky could not be explained scientifically.

“When it comes to sound, I don’t know. I think there is no scientific explanation for the sound of the boom,” said Thomas in his short message to VOI.

He also doubts if the mysterious roar or scream in the sky is said to be a phenomenon skyquake. The reason is that there is no scientific research regarding when and how this phenomenon occurred.

Thomas who is also an astronomer said he could not explain scientifically, because the facts did not exist. “It is very possible that local voices are different, but they are considered to be related. So it is as if the sound of a bang was heard over a wide area, “he said.

Until now, the source of the sound of the thump is still mysterious. This was like the boom a month earlier. At that time, it was also confirmed that the noise did not come from mountain activities or earthquakes.

Another speculation that was developing at that time was the skyquake or the sound originating from atmospheric events in the sky as the source of the boom. But this too is doubtful as there were no reports of sonic boom detection stations and no aircraft flying at the speed of sound.
