Mysterious Shouts in the Texas Night Sky

JAKARTA – Recently, citizens in Texas, United States (US) were shocked by a mysterious scream that came from the sky. The shrill scream was accompanied by rumbles and flashes of lightning.

Skyquake?

Many netizens associate the mysterious screaming sound with the skyquake phenomenon. A natural phenomenon whose cause cannot be explained with certainty.

This phenomenon has been heard for years in various parts of the world. Some have even named this mysterious phenomenon with various terms, starting from Line guns, Balza, Brontidi, Lagoni, or umimari (crying from the sea) in Japan.

VOI had asked about this mysterious phenomenon to the Head of the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (Lapan), Thomas Djamaluddin. Based on his explanation, the phenomenon of a mysterious scream or boom that occurred in the sky could not be explained scientifically.

“When it comes to sound, I don’t know. I think there is no scientific explanation for the sound of the boom,” said Thomas in his short message to VOI.
